Jerry Cooley, MD was the first hair restoration specialist in the Carolinas to be an accepted member of the International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons (IAHRS) and endorsed by the American Hair Loss Association (AHLA). He is also the first and currently the only accepted member of the Hair Transplant Mentor™ collection of exceptional hair restoration doctors in the Carolinas. Thanks to his incredible attention to detail, superior work ethic, and commitment to patient education and care. He is committed to researching improvements in hair restoration and has received three research grants from the ISHRS. Jerry served as the head U.S. consultant for Intercytex, Ltd., a British company that attempted to develop a “hair cloning” treatment for hair loss. At the Cooley Hair Center, Jerry performs minimally invasive hair restoration procedures like Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy for hair loss as well as hair transplant surgeries – Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT).
